Working through a bake
The range covers each stage, and it is easiest to choose by thinking about where you are in the process rather than by product type.

Silicone moulds and cutters in practice
Silicone moulds release baked goods and set chocolate without greasing and go in the dishwasher, which is why they have largely replaced metal for shaped work. They are flexible, so stand them on a baking tray before filling rather than carrying them full.
Cookie cutters give a cleaner edge in chilled dough than in soft dough — rest the dough in the fridge for half an hour before cutting and the shapes hold instead of spreading. Wash cutters by hand and dry them immediately so the edges do not corrode.
Edible items and allergens
Sprinkles and sugar decorations are food, and they carry the same information as anything else edible: the ingredients, the nutritional values and the allergens, as required by Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011. Where a decoration is suitable for vegetarians or free from a particular allergen, the product page says so.
Cake candles and plastic toppers are not food. Remove them, including the wooden picks under number candles, before cutting and serving the cake.

Do the silicone moulds need greasing?
No. Silicone releases baked goods and set chocolate on its own, and the moulds go in the dishwasher.
How do I stop cookie shapes spreading?
Rest the dough in the fridge for about half an hour before cutting. Chilled dough holds the shape; soft dough spreads.
Are the sprinkles and decorations edible?
Yes, and they carry the ingredients, nutritional values and allergens on the product page. Cake candles and plastic toppers are not food.
Can the moulds be used for chocolate as well as cake?
