Hagrid's birthday cake
On his eleventh birthday Harry received the first birthday cake of his life. Hagrid brought it to the hut on the lonely rock in the middle of the sea: a big, slightly squashed chocolate cake with a birthday message in green icing. That was also where Harry first learned that he was a wizard and that there was a place for him at Hogwarts. Anyone who has ever baked biscuits for someone they care about knows that a gift is recognised by its details. A house crest in the dough is exactly such a detail.
The Cinereplicas stamps bring a similar feeling into your kitchen. The set contains five stamps with the crests of the four Hogwarts houses and the Hogwarts crest, each 6 cm in diameter. Simply press them into rolled-out biscuit dough and you have baked goods that show who belongs to which house. They are made under official Warner Bros. licence.
What the set contains
- 5 stamps with the crests of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin and Hogwarts
- Stamp diameter 6 cm
- Food-grade silicone (100%), FDA-approved according to the manufacturer
- Wooden handle (100% wood)
- BPA-free
Each stamp has its own handle and presses one crest. The Hogwarts crest shows the animals of the four houses around the letter in the centre of the shield, and the other stamps belong to the individual houses.
A biscuit for every house
Biscuits with a house crest suit every celebration: birthdays, a Hogwarts-style party, a magical Christmas and film night. You can bake each guest a biscuit with their own house crest, or let the children choose. At the party a small Sorting ceremony takes place - without the Sorting Hat.
The stamp presses the crest in seconds, so it is easy to bake with children. There is no need to cut out shapes or decorate laboriously: one press and the pattern is done, and every biscuit has the same shape and imprint. In one afternoon you can prepare five different designs and still have time for decorations and games. The set is a good gift for anyone who loves baking and loves Harry Potter, whether for a birthday, for Christmas or just because.
