Planning by headcount
Anything each guest gets — glasses, hats, sweet bags — needs buying by the number of children, so the piece count is on every product page. Sorting the guests
The paper hats in house colours are the simplest version of a sorting ceremony, and it is the part children remember. Hand them out at random as guests arrive, or put the hats in a bag and let each child draw one — then use house colours for the teams in any games. It costs nothing extra and gives the party a structure beyond cake.
