The house tins
The core of the range is four house tins, each in its house colours with the crest embossed on the lid. They hold English Breakfast black tea from Ceylon, and come in a small and a large size so you can buy one to try or one to keep refilling.

What is in the bags
The tea is black English Breakfast from Sri Lanka (Ceylon), with roughly 2.5 % caffeine, about 5 mg per serving. The bags are made of unbleached cellulose and contain no plastic, which matters if you compost them. The tea is suitable for vegetarians and vegans, with no added sugar and no gluten.
Brewing it properly
Put one bag in your cup, pour over 200 ml of water at a full 100 °C, and leave it to steep for two to five minutes depending on how strong you want it. Black tea wants genuinely boiling water, unlike green tea; water that has gone off the boil gives a thin, flat cup. Squeezing the bag releases tannins and makes the tea bitter, so lift it out rather than pressing it.
