Holly wood and phoenix feather — brother wand to Voldemort's
According to J.K. Rowling's canon, Harry's wand is made from holly wood with a phoenix feather core — 11 inches (27.9 cm) long. The feather was donated by Dumbledore's phoenix Fawkes, the same bird that provided the core of Voldemort's wand. This makes them brother wands — they cannot defeat each other in direct combat. When they clash, the Priori Incantatem effect forces the weaker wand to replay its last spells as ghostly echoes. This unique bond played a decisive role in Harry's final confrontation with Voldemort.
