The first gift from the wizarding world
Hagrid bought Hedwig for Harry's eleventh birthday, on their first shopping trip to Diagon Alley. She was Harry's very first possession from the wizarding world, and he found her name in his copy of A History of Magic. For years she was Harry's only link to Hogwarts and his friends: during the summer holidays at the Dursleys' she carried letters from Ron and Hermione and flew back with his replies, whatever the weather.
The plush keychain in the set is shaped like a small snowy owl and measures 11 × 8 cm. It is made by the French brand Cinereplicas from soft polyester, and its loop lets you clip it onto keys, a school bag or a backpack. It works just as well as a little plush toy on a shelf or in bed, which is why children and grown-up fans alike love it.
What's inside the trunk
- Plush Hedwig keychain - 11 × 8 cm, 100% polyester, with a key loop
- Hedwig pen - silver, 14 cm, black ink, owl charm on a chain
- HARIBO Magical Items gummies - 80 g, in the shapes of the lightning bolt, the Golden Snitch and Hedwig
- Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans - 54 g bag, 20 flavours
- Small Hogwarts trunk - with a bow, 23 × 14 × 5 cm
Hedwig delivered the post, so a pen belongs with her: silver, 14 cm long, with an owl charm on a chain that sways gently as you write. It is made by the British company The Carat Shop and fits in a pencil case or handbag, so the gift becomes something used every day. All products carry an official Harry Potter licence, and we pack them into the trunk ourselves.
Sweets from the Hogwarts Express
Harry and Ron bought Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans on their very first journey on the Hogwarts Express, and Dumbledore is said to have avoided them ever since he got an earwax-flavoured one. The 54 g bag holds twenty flavours, from blueberry and candyfloss to dirt and rotten egg, and the colour gives nothing away. HARIBO Magical Items gummies, on the other hand, are risk-free: six fruity flavours in the shapes of the lightning bolt, the Golden Snitch and Hedwig.
The set is a ready-made gift for birthdays, Christmas, the end of the school year or just because: the keychain and pen stay, the sweets are gone in no time, and the trunk with its bow can keep holding small treasures. If you would like to add a few personal words, write them in the order note and, for an extra charge, we will include them in an envelope sealed with wax. The message is also available as a separate product.
