The owl who carried every letter
Hedwig was Hagrid's eleventh birthday present to Harry, bought in Diagon Alley before Harry had any idea what owning an owl would involve. For the next six years she carried his post, waited on windowsills for a reply and, through the long summers at the Dursleys', was often his only link to the wizarding world.
That is why a snowy owl on a Christmas tree reads differently from a crest or a wand: she stands for letters arriving from people who care, which is more or less what December is about.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Hedwig ornament made of?
It is made of ceramic and finished by hand, which gives it weight on the branch and a depth of colour that printed decorations do not have.
How big is it?
The ornament measures 6 x 7 x 5 cm, so it sits comfortably on a branch without needing a reinforced one underneath it.
How does it hang on the tree?
A ribbon is attached, so it is ready to hang straight out of the packaging with nothing else needed.
Is each piece identical?
Not exactly. The painting is done by hand, so small differences between individual pieces are normal and are part of how they are made.
Is this an officially licensed product?
Yes. It is an officially licensed Wizarding World product, so the design follows the official artwork.
Why buy the Hedwig ornament at Svetkouzel.com?
We carry the ceramic ornament range across several characters, so a tree can be built up over a few years from the same series. Every item is officially licensed and we aim to dispatch your order within 24 hours.
