Czech Hallmarks & Silver Purity Guide
Czech Hallmarking Marks & Purity Information
At Svetkouzel.com, we guarantee the authenticity and quality of our products. Since we offer jewelry made of precious metals, we comply with all legal obligations under the Czech Hallmarking Act. Our company, Fellicis s. r. o., is officially registered with the Czech Hallmarking Authority.
Did you know? The sale of precious metals is subject to state control to protect customers from purchasing low-quality or counterfeit goods.
1. Official Czech Hallmarks
All jewelry made of precious metals (silver, gold, platinum) sold in the Czech Republic must be marked according to the law. Below is the table of current Czech hallmarks used by the Hallmarking Authority:

2. Foreign Hallmarks
Within the European Union, hallmarks from selected countries with a similar control system are also recognized. Below is an overview of international and convention marks recognized in the Czech Republic:

3. How is our jewelry marked?
For our jewelry (e.g., sterling silver 925/1000), you will find three types of marks:
- Fineness Mark: A numerical code (e.g., 925) indicating the purity of the precious metal.
- Responsibility Mark: Identifies the importer or manufacturer of the jewelry.
- State Hallmark: Silver jewelry weighing over 3 grams must bear the official state hallmark (currently a rabbit's head symbol). For lighter items, the fineness mark is sufficient.
